These voyages of discovery land where Adelie Penguins tend to their fast growing young, Gentoos squabble over pebbles at their nests, and Chinstraps perform their classic mating displays.

No two voyage are alike. Programs will vary to take best advantage of the changing weather and ice conditions. All of these trips depart from Santiago, Chile, and include an overnight at the Hotel Carrera, situated on a historic square and centrally located near shopping and restaurants.

  • Magnificent sightseeing which includes abundant wildlife in a stunning setting of mountains, snow and ice.

  • Land by Zodiac boat on remote beaches, while cruising among the ice floes

  • Your expedition will be led by an outstanding staff of trained professionals chosen for their love of the Antarctic

  • You will be sharing an adventurous destination with a small group of like minded independent travelers, allowing for quicker and more efficient shore landings

  • Choose from eight departures, which usually feature at least four full days in Antarctica


    Expedition Pricing:

    All rates are per person in U. S. dollars based on double occupancy. Single supplement is 1.7 times the share pricing. Airfare is not included.

    Peninsula and Island expeditions range from US$2950 to US$9900

    Antarctica's Ross Sea expeditions ranges from US$10490 to US$18990

    Rates include:

    10, 11, 18, or 23 nights

    Welcome and Farewell receptions

    Pre-cruise hotel accommodations in a shared twin room with breakfast

    All meals on board ship

    Shore excursions and activities during voyage by Zodiac

    Lectures by noted Naturalists

    Comprehensive pre-departure materials

    All miscellaneous service taxes and port charges during the program

    A detailed expedition log of your voyage

    Baggage handling and transfers between the hotels, airports, and ship for those traveling on the group flights


    Not included are:

    Any airfare
    Passport or visa expenses
    Arrival or departure taxes
    Meals while on shore
    Supplement for single hotel accommodations
    Travel cancellation, baggage and accident insurance
    Laundry, bar and beverage, telecommunications services while on ship Gratuity (which is customary and guidelines will be explained on ship)
